Tània Verge is Associate Professor at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her main areas of research are political representation and political parties, with a focus on the gendered informal institutions underpinning party politics and parliaments and on the resistance to the adoption and implementation of gender equality policy. Her most recent publications have appeared in the European Journal of Political Research, Politics & Gender, Party Politics, and the European Journal of Politics & Gender.
