Sophie Pochic is Research director at the CNRS and Associated Professor to the EHESS in Paris. Her research on gender, work and organizations focuses on the (re)production of wage and career inequalities and on mobilizations for gender equality at work through collective bargaining, lobbying, tribunals or statistics. Her recent books include : Quantifier l’égalité au travail. Outils politiques, enjeux scientifiques [Presses Universitaires de Rennes, 2021 with S. Blanchard] and Le genre au travail. Recherches féministes et luttes de femmes [Syllepse, 2021 with N. Lapeyre, J. Laufer, R. Silvera and S. Lemière]. Her research appears in journals such as Gender, Work and Organization, European Societies, French Politics, Journal of Industrial Relations, Economic and Industrial Democracy, Politique européenne, Revue Française de Science Politique, Politix, Travail, genre et sociétés… She is member of the editorial board of Travail, Genre et Sociétés and of the executive committee of the network, MAGE – Marché du travail et genre. She is nominated as national academic expert in the Equality body (Haut Conseil à l’Egalité Femmes-Hommes) since 2016.
