Season Hoard is an Associate Professor in the School of Politics, Philosophy and Public Affairs at Washington State University and the Division of Governmental Studies and Services. Her research interests focus on comparative feminist policies issues with a focus on Western postindustrial countries, policy evaluation, applied research methods, and methodology. She has conducted policy evaluation and applied research for the United States Department of Agriculture, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Washington State Department of Commerce, and numerous other government agencies in the United States. Her research appears in Politics, Groups and Identities, American Political Science Review, Politics and Life Sciences, Frontiers in Energy Research, Community Development, International Journal of Aviation Management, and Biomass & Bioenergy. She is a member of the Gender Equality Policy in Practice Network, an Associate Editor of French Politics, and a member of the Executive Council of the Pacific Northwest Political Science Association.
