Pauline Cullen

About

Pauline Cullen is an Associate Professor in Sociology and Politics in the Department of Sociology, Maynooth University, National University of Ireland. Her work examines civil society including trade union mobilization on feminised work at national and European Union level,  women’s movements and feminist analysis of politics and policy.  She has conducted policy related research for the National Women’s Council of Ireland (NWC) and the European Institute for Gender Equality. She acted as research expert for the Irish Citizens’ Assembly on Gender Equality. Her work was been published in the Journal of Civil Society, Social Movement Studies, Gender Work & Organization, Politics & Gender; Policy and Society; Media, Culture & Society, Politique Europeenne & European Politics and Society. She is co-editor of Producing Knowledge Reproducing Gender in Contemporary Ireland University College Dublin and University of Chicago Press.
