Nora Gresch

About

Nora Gresch studied sociology at the University of Bielefeld and holds a PhD from the Department of Political Sciences, University of Vienna. She was Visiting Scholar at the Women’s Studies Program and the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics at the Iowa State University in the United States. Her research interests include citizenship studies, body studies and gender and politics. She has taken part in several research projects, including the EU-funded project, “VEIL. Values, Equality and Differences in Liberal Democracies Debates about Muslim Headscarves in Europe” (2006 – 2009) and “Changing Identities of Ethnic Minority Groups – the Comparative Study of Autochthonous and Immigrant Groups in Austria, Croatia, Kosovo, Slovenia and Serbia” (2010 – 2011) funded by the Austrian Science and Research Liaison Office.
