Iris Bradford

Iris Bradford is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University, situated on the unceded lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation, otherwise known as Montréal, Canada. Her research focuses on the politics of reproduction and care, with a particular interest in examining the labour conditions of care and health care workers through community-engaged methods. Her doctoral research centres on the labour conditions of midwives, and she has done recent work on pay equity activism and policy in the context of midwifery. Her research is grounded in her first-hand experiences as a birth-worker and full-spectrum doula.
