Elisa Chieregato is Research Fellow in EU Labour Law at the Goethe University of Frankfurt. Her research interests lie in the area of gender discrimination in the labour market, the regulation of paid and unpaid care work, and the regulation of precarious forms of employment. She holds a PhD in Labour Law from the University of Verona, in which she focused on domestic workers as subjects of intersectional discrimination, analysing the regulation of the domestic work relationship in the International and European labour law. She also holds a Master’s in Gender, Politics and Inequalities from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her PhD research Some of her research appeared in Social Politics, International Journal of Comparative Labour Law and Industrial Relations, and European Law Review.
