Annie Dussuet

Annie Dussuet is a sociologist, teacher-researcher emeritus at the Nantes Center for Sociology (CENS UMR 60-25) in Nantes University. Her researches focused on gender and work, in particular female employment in associative services and the transformations of care work with the elderly. She recently assumed the scientific direction of the PROFAM collaborative research project “Between profession and family, which frameworks for elderly care work?” (2018-2022), funded by the French National Research Agency (https://profam.hypotheses.org/). She is the author of Travaux de femmes (L’Harmattan, 2005), and, with F.X Devetter and E. Puissant, Aide à domicile, un métier en souffrance – Sortir de l’impasse (Éditions de l’Atelier, 2023). She directed the publication of the collective book Vers l’égalité femmes-hommes au travail (Presses universitaires de Rennes, 2021).
